In the 1984 film based off Orwell's book, there is a scene with children singing on a train simultaneously symbolizing just how corrupt Oceania and Big Brother keep society. Children living here are brainwashed from the start and have been described to act viciously and mercilessly to fulfill the wishes of Big Brother, meanwhile, elders stay quiet.
